I've heard or read some of these in the past and tried peeling a carrot yesterday but am now getting the impression that my jaw has become a bit too sensitive. The salt does work as would the vinegar but just not my favourite taste. Peeling the cauli stems sounds like a great idea.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04543220305879422886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26369172.post-52120780272932933682010-01-04T10:47:50.720+10:002010-01-04T10:47:50.720+10:00Good to hear you are getting back into the raw foo...Good to hear you are getting back into the raw food - I am just overwhelmed with ghrelin obviously - my excuse.

Carrot can be blitzed to make salads

http://thermomix-er.blogspot.com/2008/09/thermomix-moroccan-carrot-salad.html - there are many variations possible.

Try using a vegie peeler to make thin slices of carrot for salads. marinate these in vinegar and sugar like the Moroccan salad

Cauli can be blitzed too - especially the florettes

http://thermomix-er.blogspot.com/2009/07/thermomix-cauliflower-pilaf.html

If you marinate them in vinegar solutions they will soften. Tyr peeling the "skin" off the cauli stems and slicing the stems - they will be really tender.

Good luck and good work with doing all the Rawlicious recipes - great work.Thermomixerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13897490190548074499noreply@blogger.com
